Hi all and happy late 2010! This is my first post in ages, so yeh! Enjoy!

Okay so on Wednesday the 20 January Timbo94, Pyro, Drifty and JAL all came over to my house to watch a movie and have pizza! Pyro was the first there, and Timbo arrived shorty after that. JAL arrived 5 mins after and drifty got to my house with 1 minute to spare!!!!

Once we were all settled, we put the movie on via PS3 and the background on it is of drifty, pyro and JAL and I all together on new years! Btw pyro, SHINY PICTURE!!

The movie we watched was The Hangover and I’m pretty sure we all enjoyed it! While movie was on, we had pizza from pizza heart! It was yum and we also had cold beverages! JAL had happiness in a can (coca cola), Drifty I think had water, Timbo had Lemonade and I had a lemon lime and bitters! And we had pizza about 10-15 mins into the movie. Everyone, including Pyro, managed to stay pretty mature during the movie, which was good.

The movie went for 2 hrs 40, and after the movie we were looking at pictures on my PS3, and there were many NYE pictures! Fun fun! And then we played singstar for like half an hour!

Then everyone got dropped off home, and yeh it was a pretty good nighttt!

Hey there everyone! Yesterday, I went and picked up The Sims 3 from EB Games at Box Hill! Now, everyone who hangs out with me (aka Pyro, Timbo, Drifty, Smiley and JAL) knows i was UBER excited about this game and was excited on Thursday 4th July.

Okay, so i went to pick it up and when i was passing one of the stops at the bus terminal, Timbo was there! I walked up and squealed for joy as I had the game. Timbo covered his ears and i showed him the cover, and then left for home!

Once i got in I installed the game on my PC and it took about half an hour, which isn’t too bad. Once installed i updated Direct X etc. But, once in the game troubles started to arrise.

The create a sim feature was pretty good as you can change the colour and/or colour of the clothes which is new. Hair colour is better than ever as you can choose the base colour, root colour, highlight colour and tip colour. This gives sims a more unique look. But, the graphics were just as good as sims 2, the predecessor of the game.

Once family was created, i moved them into a nice one story home. But, this was where problems arose. The graphics are not half as good as sims 2, and the people look more like they did in sims 1. This was a major disappointment. The game ran slowly and lagged a fair bit.

I thought it was the PC at first. So last night I installed it on (please forgive me hat and other haterss) the MacBook, as it is formatted for both. The same thing (even worse) happened on the mac. The buildings were white, and in create a sim the sim was jet black.

I finally hopped on the internet this morning and searched for about half and hour-forty five mins and found a question on Yahoo! Answers. Some one asked about that problem, and others have had the same problem, even with brand new PCs and MACS.

So, later today i am returning it and getting a full refund. Sorry Timbo, but you can’t play it over here now  :(

My advice, stick with sims 2

Hey everyone,

On last weekend (i think) Ellie came over and I taught her how to put on make up. It was fun but difficult at times.  Oh, and scary evil brushes were involved! These brushes were the Eye Shadow brush, and the Mascara brush. Ellie thought i was trying to stab her in the eye, which is 100% untrue.

Anyway, that took about an hour and we then proceeded to jump on the trampoline and yelled, “HEY RANDOM PERSONS” and the people waved back.

On the 3rd of march around 9:00pm (Australian Time) we had a power failure. The lights flickered on and off making a weird sound. Our dog, Moby, went mad and started barking at the dark.

There was nothing to do except Humanities homework and i decided, “Why don’t i go and post on my blog right now!” Being excited about this, I clicked on firefox but it said “You are  not connected to the internet!” And thats when i realised i need POWER to go on the internet.

Then the power came back on which was YAY!

Last night (Saturday 28th Feb) Pyro, Drifty and I had a sleepover! (except there wasnt ALOT of sleep involved) First we went to the movies with Pyros Parent and saw Slumdog Millionare which was really good. Pyros parent thought it was scary and that was VERY funny! We got dropped off at my house and we had an agrument if the word hysterics is a word or not.

We then got to eat Pizza at my house and talked about Pyro started reading Twilight but then was too sleepy. Drifty, however read The 13 and a half lives of Captain Bluebear while we talked. Then we got bored and Pyro painted driftys nails and I did her hair. We also painted out own nails. Here is a picture:

Anyways, then Pyro told the story about how we went to Darkzone and La Porchetta for Smileys birthday. We all fell asleep and woke up at 7:58!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we woke up, we lay in bed chatting and my parent made PANCAKES! Drifty didnt feel very well and pyro tried to force feed her (But it didnt work ). So we walked Drifty home and then came back and watched friends, bugged our friends and here we are writing a blog!
